Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on October 20, 2026.

At Spruce + Ash, we are working to make our website accessible to people with disabilities.

What Web Accessibility Is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

We are working to make this site accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, with a goal of meeting Level AA. This site's contents are designed to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this effort, we aim to:

  • Set the language of the site and keep a logical content order on each page

  • Use clear heading structures

  • Provide alternative text for images

  • Use color combinations with sufficient contrast

  • Keep the site usable with a keyboard and screen readers

  • Limit motion and make sure menus, hours, and contact details are available as readable text rather than only in images

Accessibility at Our Restaurant

We want every guest to feel welcome at Spruce + Ash. If you or someone in your party needs an accommodation, such as accessible seating, help with the menu, or information about allergens or dietary needs, please call or email us before your visit, or let your server know when you arrive, and we will do our best to help.

Requests, Issues, and Suggestions

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you need further assistance, please email us at spruceandash@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
